Job Description

Position Summary
 

This position will process invoices in a timely and accurate manner as set forth by Company guidelines under the supervision of the AP Manager or Supervisor.
 
 
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
 

  • Accurately match Invoices to system Purchase Orders and ensuring Validation
  • Route unapproved invoices to correct department to obtain approval
  • Request copies of unprocessed invoices and forward to appropriate department for approval
  • Handle issues with suppliers pertaining to payment disbursement, incorrect charges, etc
  • Timely and accurately enter all invoices into the computer system for payment
  • Set up new suppliers as needed
  • Research past due invoices as needed
  • Work closely with outside suppliers and other departments as it relates to financial transactions throughout the Company
  • Exhibit friendly, positive and team-like behavior
  • Follow all Company policies and procedures
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

  • A High School diploma is required
  • Must possess strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Should have at least 3 - 4 years of work experience
  • Oracle ERP experience is preferred
  • Must be capable of working in a team environment
  • Must be a detail oriented, self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks
  • Must be able to operate a 10 key by touch and type 40+ WPM.
  • Must have good PC skills to include all MS Office products
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff, management, and suppliers
  • Must possess sound reasoning skills and have the ability to follow directions


 
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk, stoop, kneel, carry, push/pull and use repetitive wrist and hand movements. The employee may be required to lift and/or move objects of up to 25 pounds. Hearing, seeing ability of rapid mental coordination. It is required to be mentally alert for entire regular shift.


 
Work Environment

This position will typically work in a climate controlled building in the corporate office of Parker Drilling.

• Ensure all incidents are reported and appropriately investigated in accordance with Company procedure.
• As needed, seek advice from HSE representative.
