Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing team in planning, creating and managing content across key platforms/channels
  • Actively engage with product management & development to drive personal knowledge and ensure accuracy in product descriptions and capabilities
  • Analyze digital media activity, mine data, draw logical conclusions and present the findings (clicks, likes, comments, impressions, conversions, etc.)
  • Monitor competitive online retail landscape
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from management or partners on related matters (e.g., performance, trends, forecasts, etc.)
  • Conduct market research projects by mining data, drawing logical conclusions and presenting findings & recommendations
  • Collect and analyze data on market share, consumer insights, and competitive landscape

E-Commerce

  • Own and manage the product mix and merchandising strategy for a number of mass retail .com web sites
  • Regular participation in driving our program strategy across Amazon US, Amazon Canada and Amazon UK
  • Assist in developing engaging product marketing copy focused on telling our brand story, reaching new audiences and driving conversion

Paid Media

  • Analyze and translate data from web analytics tools into an actionable PPC roadmap for our Klockit brand
  • Create new and optimize existing PPC campaigns to drive traffic and conversion rates for our Klockit brand
  • Create, test and measure the performance of PPC landing pages on an ongoing basis for our Klockit brand
  • Research and develop PPC best practices to identify new market opportunities and maximize program profit for our Klockit brand.

E-Mail Marketing

  • Assist with executing the email strategy, including segmentation of email database, developing valuable content and promotional strategy, performing A/B testing, identifying optimal deployment times, testing campaign quality and reporting results for our Klockit brand.
  • Assist E-commerce Marketing Manager in executing promotional strategy for AcuRite.com, focused on driving sales and profitability, while allowing our external retail partners to maintain competitive price points throughout their product mix.

Social

  • Assist in development of a social media strategy to maintain a presence and engage new viewers on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
  • Create innovative content ideas and promotions and manage editorial updates.
  • Establish benchmarks to measure the impact of social media in conjunction with overall digital marketing initiatives.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of hands on experience in digital marketing, including an in-depth understanding of digital trends, advertising platforms (Facebook & Google), email marketing, analytics, social media and other 3rd party social publishing and monitoring tools
  • Interest and active participation in emerging channels: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Blogging, and Mobile Platforms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, web-based email management tools (Marketing Cloud preferred), and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent business writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Advertising
