Job Description

Psychotherapeutic Services' is seeking a Team Leader (FT) to provide oversight and coordination for our Assertive Community Treatment Team in Greensboro, NC.  Our ACT Team is an evidence-based service designed for adults with serious mental illness that provides a full range of treatment, rehabilitation and support services by an interdisciplinary team in a variety of community based settings. Services include psychiatric and nursing services, assistance with housing and employment, substance abuse treatment, peer support and case management.

Duties include:

*Planning, organizing, supervising, directing and coordinating the day-to-day aspects of the ACT Team;

*Training, mentoring and supervising a multidisciplinary staff in working with a challenging population of individuals with a variety of behavioral and mental health issues.

*Responsible for making program improvements and coordinating available resources in order to serve persons most effectively.


Job Requirements

Specific qualifications for the role include:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCSW-A) or a Licensed Professional         Counselor of Mental Health (LPC or LPC-A); 
• Master's degree in Social Work, or related field; 
• Three years post-grad mh/sa/dd exp, plus management/supervisory experience.
