Job Description

Psychotherapeutic Services is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (FT) to provide treatment, rehabilitation, and medical support services for our substance abuse disorder/co-occurring disorder treatment program for adults.  

Duties:

  • Completes all admission requirements/orientation of health services;
  • Responsible for coordinating psychiatric/medical appointments with physicians;
  • Responsible for health assessments and completion/updates medical plans;
  • Monitors follow-up of doctor-ordered treatment and laboratory tests;
  • Updates family/guardians as needed;
  • Attends treatment meetings and provides input regarding medical needs as requested;
  • Reviews and attends to any medically complex issues when indicated.

 

Job Requirements

1. RN licensed to practice in the State of Delaware;

2. Experience providing services for adults with substance abuse/co-occurring disorder(s).
