Job Description

Psychotherapeutic Services is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor (FT) to serve as primary resource regarding substance abuse/addictions disorder for our Community Behavioral Health program in Dover, DE. 

Our Counselor provides individual, group and family counseling to persons served in order for recipient to achieve and maintain rehabilitative, sobriety, and recovery goals.  This is intended to meet the mental health or substance abuse needs of adults who have significant functional impairments that seriously interfere with or impede their roles or functioning in family, school, or community.

Job Requirements

1. Certified Drug & Alcohol Counselor by the State of Delaware; OR other clinical/ professional license;

2. Experience providing substance abuse treatment for adults.
