Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily leadership and guidance to the project quality assurance staff according to the mission, goals, and objectives of the program;
  • Manages the proper execution of standard operating procedures for the regional offices;
  • Leads a team to achieve excellent contract performance, meaningful outputs, and adherence to stringent federal, state, county, and company compliance objectives;
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure high standards for quality assurance reviews, reporting, and coaching
  • Ensures the development of effective staff training based on need and trends;
  • Develops and reviews project reports to assist in the analysis of project performance;
  • Manages contract compliance in three regions and ensure that contract objectives are achieved and that case file accuracy meets County and company expectations
  • Ensures performance reports are submitted to the County, corporate and to other project staff timely and accurately;
  • Analyzes program data and reports to manage daily operations, identify performance and compliance trends, and initiate process improvements, coaching initiatives
  • Monitors staff performance and provide coaching, including soft skills and technical training, for the purpose of assisting employees improve performance;
  • Ensures adequate quality control procedures for operational processes are performed in a rigorous manner;
  • Ensures maintenance of standard operating procedures;
  • Ensures confidentiality of all information regarding staff performance and compliance;
  • Prepares materials and respond to inquiries from representatives of federal and local oversight agencies;
  • Communicates in a timely and concise way with state and county partners, including preparing and delivering or participating in regular status reports;
  • Seeks feedback and direction from direct supervisor and project leadership team;
  • Fulfills other project related duties as assigned, including but not limited to serving as a liaison to various county functions or assisting with facilities duties in home office.
  • Maintains positive working relationship with contract sponsor staff;
  • Represents PCG in various meetings and events, as assigned; and
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with community and other government agencies that provide services to our common customers.

Required Experience:

Education

A Bachelor's degree or higher preferably in business, business administration, accounting, social work, public policy, or other closely related fields. Significant related experience may substitute for the educational requirements.

Experience

A minimum of four years’ relevant work experience in the public sector or other customer-centric service sector/industry. A minimum of four years directly managing supervisors of staff. Fluent in English; Previous experience with multicultural staff and customers is a plus

Previous knowledge in TANF/CalWORKs and/or Welfare-to-Work.
