Responsibilities

Overall Responsibilities:

PCG is currently seeking a Project Specialist to work in our Austin, TX office. The Project Specialist works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as part of a team of subject matter experts, consultants, and operations staff within the Health  practice. This position has an opportunity to contribute to the success of exciting educational initiatives, locally as well as nationally. For the right motivated individual, there is an excellent opportunity for career development and advancement. 

Specific Responsibilities:

Assists project managers in the coordination and completion of projects

Provides administrative and technical support.

Communicates any issues, problems, or additional information to project managers and recommends solutions.

Monitors and evaluates project activity and report on progress to project managers and leadership

Prepares and supports written status reports for clients

Conducts policy and other research

Gathers and analyzes data

Conducts quantitative and qualitative data

Assists in drafting written reports

Prepares a wide range of materials required for client presentation and meetings



Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to analyze and organize data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets, using Excel or comparable tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office products
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently while also integrating well within a team environment
  • Self-starter who can quickly learn web based technologies
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 4+ years of relevant work history
