PCG is looking for an engaging, outgoing, experienced self-starter who will help us grow our education business in the State of Idaho.  The successful candidate(s) will lead consultative sales meetings with clients and prospective clients. They will be the primary point of contact for potential clients and will be responsible for managing the sales life cycle across a suite of education services. The candidate is expected to become familiar with education leaders as well as the issues that state and local education agencies are grappling with in Idaho.  This candidate will be evaluated on the business opportunities created and the revenue generated from those identified opportunities.

The Senior Consultant will manage complex projects and/or produce sophisticated deliverables; they hire, train and supervise staff; work independently with minimal supervision; serve as an internal consultant to other projects or product lines; play a key role in proposals and sales presentations and present at conferences. The Senior Consultant is expected to play a lead role in developing and expanding PCG's presence in Idaho. They are often the primary point of contact with clients and are responsible for managing most deliverables and services. They are expected to manage the local office site, if applicable, as well as assist other established PCG locations in product and service delivery as appropriate.

Specific Responsibilities:

Create and implement a business development strategy, resulting in new contracts and revenue.

Leverage existing client relationships to understand new needs and challenges in the public education sector; and position PCG to help solve them.

Build relationships with key clients and prospects. 

Serve as a key contact person for significant clients. 

Meet with clients regularly to update them on project status. 

Present at conferences, seminars, forums, trainings and meetings.

Participate in writing proposals and prospecting of new clients. 

Participate in recruiting and hiring of new staff as needed, as well as performance reviews for staff. 

Develop junior level staff and provide professional development opportunities. 

Oversee staff to ensure client's needs are met. 

Manage team members in multiple office locations to complete project deliverables.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, operations, and client services. 

Assist in managing project budgets and ensuring proper staff resources are allocated to each project. 

Development and supervision of internal and external documents such as procedural and operational manuals, training presentations, guides, handbooks, and formal correspondence. 

Work closely with colleagues in other regional offices to share best practices, staff projects, and accomplish shared business development goals.

Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. 

Experience in the areas of information technology, finance/business operations, k-12 education, and special education is highly desirable. 

Previous supervisory experience required.

Other Requirements: Ability to work overtime and travel to client sites required.
