Immediate need for a talented Business Analyst with experience in the IT Industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop an expertise and become a primary support contact for learning applications.
  • Saba Learning Management System – package solution.
  • LAB Portal – custom .NET solution.
  • Saba Classroom – SaaS solution.
  • Training Online – custom solution.
  • Business Objects (BO) – packaged solution.
  • Actively monitor and resolve user support issues, working closely with the Operations teams 
  • Assist in answering end user procedural and system questions 
  • Manage and implement application configurations and/or administrative setup configurations in the application as required.
  • Assist the Learning Systems Project Leader and Business Analysts in developing training content and conduct or support training as required.
  • Assist in the execution of application implementation tasks including:
  • Writing and reviewing functional specifications
  • Reviewing and approving technical specifications
  • Building test scenarios and execution plans
  • Coordinating and executing user testing
  •  Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience supporting or implementing applications. 
  • Experience at global, professional services firm in a Business Analyst role preferred.
  • Experience with implementing learning technology preferred.
  • Proven ability of working in challenging technical, customized and packaged softwares. 
  • Ability to develop a detailed understanding of system functionality in order to serve as a subject matter expert within the team.
  • Ability to develop and manage small project plans.
  • Balance of strong business process knowledge and technical system knowledge.
  • Prior experience with enterprise software and business intelligence solutions preferred (Business Objects preferred).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Prior experience working with 3rd party application vendors and consulting vendor agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience resolving complex business and application problems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with large enterprise applications (e.g. Oracle ).
  • Proficiency with SQL (a plus).
  • Proven organizational and program management skills.
  • Ability to foresee problems and address proactively.
  • Understands impact of problems/solutions on project scope, timeline, and/or budget.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; in particular, demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels internally and externally.
  • Well honed influencing skills including the ability to negotiate and gain consensus between organizations where competing priorities exist.
  • Ability to manage through influence, but without direct management authority.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize and balance multiple responsibilities.
  • Able to work independently, yet seamlessly integrate activities with other teams when needed.
  • Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business and in keeping with organization's values and culture.
  • It is necessary to have the ability to understand and manage complex reporting relationships and incorporate multiple labor laws and cultures.
  • Experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization is essential.
  • Successful track record of delivering components or work streams of global projects.
  • Knowledge of learning systems such as Saba and Saba Classroom.
  • Excellent program management skills.
  • Proven success in effective virtual team management.
  • Balance of business process knowledge and experience implementing mix of custom and package software to meet business needs.
