Immediate need for a talented Customer Service Representative with experience in the Pharmaceuticals Industry.This is a 6+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in New Haven, CT.  Please review the job description below.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Communicates with consumers and all levels of the health care community. Screens callers in medical customer service environment, accurately documenting and processing calls across all of client’s prescription product lines.
  • Administrative duties include: database entry and maintenance, word processing, filing, phone call screening, records maintenance, typing, and faxing. Manages confidential records.
  • Years of Experience 3-5.
  • Active healthcare experience such as an RN or LPN or other healthcare related discipline that is comfortable with taking medical histories telephonically.
  • Have an understanding of medications and what they are for as well as a good understanding of medical conditions and medical histories. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinical setting.
  • Need to be BLS certified and be comfortable with those skills. Need to be available for some evening and weekend hours.
  • Comfortable with outbound cold calling for database management and taking initiative to do outreach to fill studies.
  • Comfortable with medical language when reading protocols, explaining studies to potential volunteers and developing study specific materials.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office tools suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Understanding of local regulatory requirements (e.g., ICH, GCP), excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent computer skills.
