Key Responsibilities:
  • Required Job Skills Analyze business change drivers to determine business and information requirements for assigned project work.
  • A working understanding or experience with ACA Retail Exchanges and  or the Federally Facilitated Marketplace is a must.
  • Understanding of CMS Regulations, Enrollment processing formats (e.g. EDI 834, 820 and associated exchanges is a requisite)
  • Follow current client SLC for business requirements capture, adding appropriate architecture checkpoints and artifacts to capture business strategy, goals, core business functions, flows, business rules, events, etc., for assigned project work.
  • Works to identify key business strategies and goals creating an approach which allows the easy capture of business requirements for assigned project work Follows the business architecture principles to guide business services and process decisions for the enterprise for assigned project work.
  • Utilizes client key modeling tools to capture and reuse business intellectual property for assigned project work.
  • Works closely with Solutions Architecture, Project Teams and Integration Services to identify and lead the implementation of automated business processes, integrated business rules and shared master data information for assigned project work.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • For assigned project work, drives mapping of business strategy to IT strategy and develops enterprise architecture "opportunity lists” for future enterprise architecture planning spanning a 1 year or more horizon Has understanding of concepts of portfolio management.
  • Assisting in development and ranking of new solutions, information, and technology initiatives aligned to the business strategy for assigned project work.
  • Ability to stand up and facilitate meetings for business process re-engineering, joint application development or other team "brainstorming” sessions focused on business for assigned project work.
  • Works with and identifies a Enterprise Architecture business framework (e.g Zachman) aligned to the client SLC and business needs that is available as part of the modeling environment toolset for assigned project work
  • Good understanding of business modeling tools, Rational Unified Process and associated SLC development tools to capture and manage business and technical requirements Soft Skills and Knowledge Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
  • Excellent written, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical ideas in to understandable business terminology Good knowledge of business, information needs in the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to present complex ideas in a concise fashion to business leaders.
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies as applied to the business ability to understand the long-tern ("big picture”) and short term implications of individual decisions Strong team facilitation skills.
  • Experience 7–10 years experience in SLC development with deep understanding of multiple technologies.
  • Extensive experience in multiple and diverse environments and applications.
  • Knowledge and experience in all major functions, issues and considerations of the subject matter.
  • Resource has played a leadership role in establishing standards, policies strategy and best practice.
  • Ability to discuss industry and marketplace trends and directions and site relevant case studies.
  • Resource has had an influence on wide or high-impact decisions and initiatives and has a theoretical background and understanding of the subject matter.
  • Capable of managing manages a diverse and complex suite of projects simultaneously.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects/project teams.
  • A working understanding of existing supporting technologies including health insurance products, related HIOS IDs. NAIC identifiers, EDI enrollment processes, EDI fallout and reconciliation, payment capture, binder payments, fulfillment processes. etc a plus.
