Job Details

The Human Resource Administrator provides support to HR leadership and employees in all areas of Human Resources, including: employment verification, background checks, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administers Pre-employment testing to include, but not limited to computerized testing and other related testing as needed.
  • Ensure interview packets are complete.
  • Supports local recruiting efforts
  • Maintain employee electronic and paper records.
  • Process employee changes
  • Onboard new hires
  • Assist in maintaining hiring tracker
  • Collect completed interview documents and file/create new employee file
  • Conduct and print background checks for candidates and file in either the job folder or create the new hire employee personnel file
  • Assist with new hire orientation paperwork including
    • File all new hire related paperwork in the employee's personnel file
    • Process all new hire I-9's through e-Verify and staple confirmation page to I-9
  • File all I-9's active and terminated
  • Additional projects as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field of study, preferred
  • Certification in Human Resources, preferred
  • Beginning knowledge of federal, state and local law
  • Some experience in Human Resources as a Human Resource Intern or HR Assistant from either an internal or external source is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and yet collaboratively with all levels of team members HR, Operations, employees and external sources
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated commitment to excellence
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at any given time and flexible to meet the needs of the business with additional hours
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and ability to learn and accept new software programs
