Large and very well-known Long Term Care facility in the Bronx is currently seeking a Life Plan Advisor (Marketing/Sales specialist) to join their Assisted Living team. Position: Life Plan Advisor (Marketing/Sales Specialist)
Department: Sales/Marketing
Reports to: Director of Sales & Marketing
Position Summary: Supports the efforts of the Sales & Marketing Department by performance of the following duties and responsibilities:
Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Meets expected Independent Living (IL) sales goals for sales contacts, appointments and completed sales.

  • Conduct follow up with IL prospects either through phone, email, mail or appointments to ensure that they are well informed of the move-in options and process.

  • Set appointments with IL prospects for tours of the community
  •

  • Conduct tours of Information Center/community for walk ins
  • Secure Priority Deposits (as appropriate during this phase) and meet required goals for deposits.

  • Secure Reservation Deposits (as appropriate during this phase) and meet required goals for deposits.
  • Initiate and process applications to include financial and medical. Process deposits.

  • Notify depositor of approval/disapproval status of financial application and if approved, set appointment for contract signing in a timely manner. Process 10% deposit.

  • Schedule closing/move-in dates appropriate to the contract and phase of the community's development. Work cooperatively with other departments for the benefit of the new resident to transition to Community in a stress-free environment.

  • Enter and update CRM database with accurate and timely daily/weekly tracking reporting for calls, appointments, follow-ups, etc.

  • Prepare Monthly Marketing Reports for review by Director of Marketing.

  • Assist Director of Marketing in development and implementation of special events (on-site and off-site) to draw prospective residents to Community Information Center.

  • Perform appropriate follow-ups, tours, etc. with event prospects.

  • Maintain awareness of senior marketplace and reports significant changes to Director of Marketing.

  • Assists Director of Marketing in development and implementation of appropriate incentives to encourage move-ins.

Qualifications: (Include required education, certifications, licenses and experience.)
Employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in a pleasant, courteous and positive manner. The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required: Bachelor's degree, two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Employee must be experienced in industry standard computer programs.
Physical Demands:
Required to use hands to fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk, see or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 Pounds. Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Must be able to speak on the telephone for long periods of time.
Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
Work Environment:
Representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level is usually moderate.
