Job Description

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our Gexpro Services team in Irving, TX!

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Processes inbound orders and delivery specifications.
  • Assists Program Managers by processing priority transactions and dispositioning urgent customer requests.
  • Expedites purchase orders with vendors.
  • Communicates with the customer daily on urgent requests.
  • Generates a weekly report to present to the customer with delivery on all open orders.
  • Quotes pricing to the customer within an agreed-upon window of time.
  • Achieves and maintains technical capabilities at required levels, and participates in sales meetings, vendor seminars, and internal training programs to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge.
  • Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers and to be sensitive to their needs.
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • An excellent attendance record required.
  • Able to work overtime as needed.


  • High school diploma or two-year degree or more preferred.
  • Customer-oriented and motivated with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use Excel efficiently. 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers
  • Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills and ability to drive decisions with influence.
  • Fastener knowledge and/or Aerospace/Defense industry knowledge preferred, but not required.
  • Equivalent experience in OEM supply chain, Fastener or Electrical distribution industry, and or a strong sales background will be given serious consideration.
