Job Description

We are looking for a Project House Manager to join our Gexpro team in Chicago, IL!

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining customer relations, construction project schedules, project status reports and customer files.  In addition the candidate will maintain and refresh customer databases, interact with sales and purchasing to ensure timely project completion and execution.
  • Work with the National Account Sales Team
  • Provide project quotations
  • Ensure successful completion of customer projects
  • Perform accurate project take-offs from plans or blue prints
  • Review specifications and material requirements with customers along with key vendors for joint collaboration
  • Perform billing reconciliation
  • Handle multiple customer inquiries, process orders and resolve customer issues promptly
  • Good team player
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines


  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Interaction with customers and vendors.
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office applications and Solar Eclipse.
  • Project Management, Electrical, Construction or Lighting experience required.


  • 5 years’ experience within the Electrical Industry (Distribution, Agency or Manufacturer) or Construction Project Management required.
