Job Description

We are seeking a Site Specialist for Gexpro to work on-site at client location in Clayton, NC

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Participation in capabilities review with customer.
  • Coordinating with IT and Operations to decide on data and communications setup and implementation.
  • Coordinating with mobile unit provider for delivery.
  • Coordinating with site safety on proper work procedures.
  • Coordinating with site civil engineering to ensure proper placement of mobile unit.
  • Supervising the installation of mobile unit.
  • Overcoming any obstacles that may arise, such as, not enough tie downs to complete the job, noting “racking” of trailer that could affect door closure, weather, and site work schedule.
  • Coordinating with lift equipment rental company for delivery of equipment.
  • Inspecting lift equipment and identifying any issues while complying with site environmental policies.
  • Coordinating with site procurement and supervision to ensure the requisitions and requisition process meets the needs of all involved.
  • Coordinating with the site accounting contact to ensure the proper information is entered into Eclipse at order entry prior to invoicing.
  • Coordinating with CFS, Operations, IPG, and others to streamline order entry process and ensure compliance with site invoice/reporting requirements.
  • Training site leader in all functions of the mobile unit and Eclipse.
  • Supporting site leader remotely for any and all questions and concerns

Summary Continued

There is also backroom support and maintenance requirement for a mobilized site that may include the following due to nuances in Eclipse, site leader abilities, and workload/bandwidth amongst the Gexpro EPC team:

  • Daily/Weekly monitoring of invoice preview queue.
  • Reviewing and correcting any sales orders.
  • Invoicing those sales orders.
  • Coordinating with pricing team, operations, IPG, and Eclipse message groups to resolve issues prior to invoicing.
  • Addressing any issues after invoicing with the customer. This could consist of credits and rebills, on-site visits with customer, remote support and communications with customer.
  • Being the main point of contact with Gexpro IT for any and all connectivity issues.
  • Constantly in communication with various Eclipse resources within Gexpro in attempts to resolve issues, streamline processes, and keep up-to-date on Eclipse functionality.
  • Supporting operations and the branch in resolving PO variance issues as well as any other issues that come to light.
  • Coordinating with sourcing and the site leader to ensure proper inventory profile.
  • Remote support of essentially all facets of an X-Branch.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to make fiscal and economic decisions independently while engaging and informing Gexpro leadership accordingly.
  • Ability to manage the expectations of customers while maintaining professionalism, integrity and customer service excellence.
  • Proven time management skills through both lulls and exceptionally busy points of activity.
  • A collaborator with demonstrated emotional intelligence as a leader.
  • Proven ability to work with multiple project managers, operations teams and sales force.
  • Demonstrated skills to set and work priorities with specific deadlines.
  • Proven skills and capabilities in managing and coordinating projects.
  • Ability to work and build necessary rapports with vendors.
  • Travel 75-80% of the year.
  • Demonstrated innovation in problem solving related to customer needs.
  • Competence with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Computer knowledge in the internet.
  • EPC experience is preferred.
  • Adobe 9 experience preferred.
