Job Description

We're seeking a Vertical Contract Leader to join our Rexel team at our Indianapolis, IN location!

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate on strategic growth teams & contribute to the direction and development of commercial strategy of National Account programs. Areas of focus include working with national account managers leading strategic initiatives targeted at multi-location, National Accounts. The efforts will focus on product and service alignments within targeted growth areas.
  • Responsible for overall customer implementation satisfaction.  Set strategic direction of the implementation, define the objectives of the project and ensure a common understanding with the supporting team leads which are consistent with that described in the RFP, proposal and contract.  
  • Provide formal and informal leadership to internal, cross-functional teams striving to meet project deliverables and timelines.
  • Conduct national account research in conjunction with the sales organization.
  • Work with national account managers to plan and coordinate high level customer business reviews.
  • Develop customer site level target lists for deployment within the national account leakage and growth targets.
  • Maintain close relationships with national account managers and sales to provide timely, accurate, and thorough information. 
  • Identify process improvements to improve account profitability.
  • Generate cost savings ideas and share best practices to achieve customer metrics.


  • 5 years of Strategic, National Account facilitation and support experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful "go-to-market" programs.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel using pivot tables, v-lookups, and formulas in working with large amounts of data.
  • High degree of initiative as well as strong organizational and planning skills to complete major projects on a specified schedule, meeting business demands.
  • Experience supporting and servicing large, multi-location customer enterprises in diverse market segments.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects from implementation through entitlement.
  • Knowledge and experience performing data and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to travel as required; no more than 25%.
  • Knowledge of Rexel systems and procedures.
  • 5 years of Electrical Industry experience.


  • BS/BA Degree.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
