Robert Half Finance and Accounting are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant and Office Manager for a business in Pontyclun.


Assume responsibility as senior member of the Finance team, being the right-hand to the Finance Manager and co-ordinate HR administration.
To carry out administration duties in Llantrisant for the Finance Department.

You will:
Assist Finance Manager with weekly cash flow forecast
Assist Finance Manager with month-end close (account reconciliations, journal bookings, P&L and BS review, etc.)
Review automatic payment run for Finance Manager approval
Automatic/manual payment to Vendors, Pension, PAYE & NIC
Statutory reporting: VAT, EC Sales and Intrastat, PAYE & NIC
Assist Finance Manager with weekly/monthly management reporting
Assist Finance Manager with Ad Hoc duties as required
Maintain and clear down G/L accounts on SAP C)
Oversee daily running of Finance Department
Cover for Finance Manager when required
Liaise with outsource company for any payroll queries
HR - new starters, leavers, injury claims
Update, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures
Update and maintain HR personnel files
Monitor absence attendance and holiday register
Deal with staff enquires
Maintain pension schedule / update pension information
Deal with queries from Pension Trustees
Carry out ad hoc duties as requested within the Finance Department

Salary & Benefits

£23,000 to £27,000 plus benefits
