Robert Half are pleased to be representing a West Leeds based import business in the recruitment of a Bookkeeper on either a full time basis.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in a similar role.

The candidate must also have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.


  • Compile and record, accurately, financial statements
  • Work to budgets and deadlines
  • VAT returns
  • Purchase and Sales Ledger
  • Client interaction
  • Making returns to Companies House


  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • A qualification in an accountancy/ book-keeping subject would be advantageous
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word etc.)
  • Experience using online book-keeping packages (the business uses Sage)

Training will be provided where necessary, however candidates must have experience in some of the areas detailed above.

This is a full time role, hours and salary to be discussed at interview stage and will depend on experience.
