Robert Half are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to take on a new role in Edinburgh. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be required to perform payroll and general bookkeeping tasks. Duties include:

  • Preparation of the weekly wages, which involved inputting of data into internal systems and processing payments
  • Daily and weekly bank reconciliations
  • Working on the accounts of the organisation's clients
  • Managing phone-calls and correspondence in regards to accounting queries
  • Dealing with VAT returns, banking and reports

This would be well suited to a candidate with:

  • Experience of payroll
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Book-keeping experience
  • Experience of working in a busy finance function
  • Good communication experience

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
