Robert Half are recruiting for a Data Analyst to join well established business based in Leeds. In this varied role you will utilise analytical capability to drive business insight and decision support to assist in process improvement. To be considered for this position you must have a excellent working knowledge of SAS.

You will engage and partner with a range of internal and external stakeholders to lead or support on business improvement activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and ad hoc analysis of data in order to improve operational strategies
  • Provide key reporting, metrics and insight to support wider activities
  • Make recommendations to Senior Management based on data driven analysis
  • Perform analysis using SAS and present outputs using MS Excel & PowerPoint
  • Be responsible for developing new models and processes
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to drive value, efficiency and control
  • Cultivate strong and enduring relationships with key stakeholders to optimise processes, embed governance structures and resolve issues or disputes.
  • Support change projects and ensure impacts to the asset journey are understood with risks mitigated or escalated where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Must have a excellent working knowledge of SAS
  • Experience of working in an Data Analyst / analaytical based role is essential
  • Educated to degree level with strong analytical skills and out-of-the-box thinking
  • Good levels of proficiency in languages and tools such as SAS, R, etc in data manipulation for use on large datasets - desirable
  • Proven experience of leading others and creating an environment that supports and inspires people to develop and deliver
  • Ability to adapt to change and handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with complex dependencies and requirements
  • Ability to manipulate large, complex data sets and interpret results to make recommendations for improvement & drive value
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels across the business

£28,000 £38,000k, plus bonus , free car parking and a range of exciting benefits
