Robert Half is recruiting an FP&A Manager for a company that provides market intelligence to a specific industry across its sectors.

Role

As Manager Fp&a you'll work directly with the CFO, heading up the routine financial and business
reporting across the company. 'Objective to be the single source of truth' for information to support all
key business decision making and a strong emphasis on Business Partnering through routine business
reporting, business case analysis and project support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation and review of all budgets and forecasts including the annual budget
  • Review of monthly management accounts and the preparation of monthly pack for management including explanations of key variances along with insights and trends
  • Analysis and reporting for board pack
  • Monthly department reporting and stakeholder liaison
  • Engage in the development and improvement of finance systems and processes to provide more granular and timely information to meet the businesses needs
  • Work as a senior business partner with business management to improve company performance and manage risk and reward, by engaging in, and supporting commercial decision making. Including working with other teams to build investment's business cases.
  • Build and maintain a customer, segment, product profitability analysis reporting process.
  • Responsible for non-financial data verification and reporting across a range of discreet systems to provide 'one version of the truth'
  • Ad hoc financial analysis and projects
  • Build out the Management KPI reporting in line with the strategic plan initiatives so that all work streams have clear KPI's and metrics that will be reported on at least monthly
  • Providing general finance support for the business

Profile

  • Qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Someone that has been involved in setting up the FP&A function in an SME;
  • Any industry but if the candidate is from a subscription business will be a plus;
  • Experience in Large and also SME companies.
