The Company

Robert Half are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a contracts-based business in North Leeds for an ongoing assignment. There may be a chance for the role to go permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will:

  • Take ownership for financial control
  • Maintain the balance sheet and review the reconciliation process
  • Identify and improve any problems with the current financial processes
  • Work with the wider business to improve accounting services
  • Upskill staff throughout the business to get employees thinking financially
  • Encouraging financial compliance and maintaining relevant accounting standards
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required

Your profile

You will be a qualified accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA, however CIMA will also be considered. It is beneficial if you have a defence and military background and have previous experience of working within a regional role. You must be able to demonstrate a strong technical accounting ability.

Salary & Benefits

Salary is £40,000 - £45,000 or equivalent through a limited/umbrella company. Please contact Will Sides for more details.

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
