Robert Half Finance and Accounting are working with a forward thinking and progressive business who are looking for a Financial Analyst to join their Finance Team due to growth.

Role

Main roles and responsibilities include:

  • Production of weekly reports.
  • Production of month end accounts/reports including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provide control of costs through detailed analysis and explanation of variances to target
  • Production of robust Budgets, Forecasts and 3 Year Plans
  • Ad hoc performance analysis and set up of performance trackers
  • Create system efficiencies/automation on all reporting
  • Produce robust Budgets, Forecasts and 3 Year Plans that can withstand challenge in review meetings
  • Coordinate Budget & Forecast timetables, manage compliance and arrange necessary meetings
  • Allocate top level targets across all stores
  • Prepare Budget & Forecast packs for the management team
  • Produce and report the full monthly P&L (including posting all journals & managing accruals)
  • Produce robust monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Control all costs through detailed monthly analysis and explanation of variances to target
  • Produce monthly P&L packs for discussions with Management team.

Profile

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure and a pro-active approach to work. Advanced Excel skills are essential.

Salary & Benefits

This opportunity is paying between £20-24k pa DOE. You will also receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and free onsite parking as well as an attractive benefits package including pension.
