Robert Half Devon & Cornwall is pleased to be working with a well established and growing business based in Newton Abbot to recruit a Financial Controller. Our client is looking for a people orientated, commercial and driven individual to join their team on a permanent basis as they continue to develop and grow as a business.

This role will include but not limited too, the following tasks:

- Management of finance team of 3 (also assist and contribute to the management of the other members of the finance function).
- Review and work on the pricing process
- Oversee the sales invoicing process
- Support the month end and year end accounting process
- Work across various departments across the business on new sales and projects
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Continuous review and improvement of all finance and business processes
- Strategic planning
- Support M&A activities
- Support GDPR compliance activities
- Support the Finance Director and CEO with other ad hoc business projects

The successful candidate will be either CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalently qualified and have held similar levels of experience. We will be looking for individuals who have proven people management experience, along with an excellent team player attitude and passion for working as a team towards the end goal. High standards are key to the success in this role and a passion to continuously want to seek to improve the business processes and ways of doing things.
