Robert Half is currently working with a leading boutique investment manager based in the City of London to hire a Graduate Operations Analyst.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year's previous experience within financial services or investment house and be degree educated.

This will initially be a 6 month contract and requires candidates to be available at short notice. Although training will be provided we are ideally looking for someone with circa 1 year experience and highly motivated to deepen their previous Operations / Middle Office experience. Internship / placement year or recent experience is all fine.

The remit of the role is to provide accurate and consistent support for the trading desk, ensuring transactions are reconciled with the administrators, prime brokers and custodians and all T+1 processes are completed

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Running and checking internal trade reconciliations
  • Reviewing reconciliations produced by the administrators
  • Overseeing the settlements process for bonds and equities
  • Reviewing and making collateral calls
  • Producing cash forecast reports
  • Producing asset reports
  • Reviewing and authorising wire transfers
  • Overseeing the paper confirmations process
  • Answer all queries in a timely manner
  • Assist team members with providing training and additional support as required
