Robert Half are recruiting for a HR & Payroll Administrator to join a well-established business based in North West Leeds.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily administrative support to HR & payroll managers
  • Running monthly payrolls alongside the payroll manager
  • Logging and maintaining absence and holiday
  • Maintaining payroll and benefit related system
  • Dealing with employee queries as and when they arise
  • Calculation of company sick pay and creating the relevant employee correspondence
  • Maternity & sickness calculations
  • Manage the administration of all HR Policy, procedures and legislation
  • Manage the maternity, paternity and family policy administration and payments
  • Oversee recruitment activity of selected roles
  • Assist HR manager with ad HR administration task as when required
  • Assist with the induction process of new starters

Requirements:

  • Previous HR & payroll experience advantageous
  • Payroll expeirnce essential (HR training will be provided on the job)
  • Experience of working in a confidential environment, within a payroll function
  • Ability to competently and accurately work with databases, spreadsheets and software packages
  • A knowledge of payroll systems, taxation and national insurance rules
  • Capable of quickly and accurately prioritising workload, without sacrificing attention to detail
  • Well organised with excellent time management skills
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal

Salary & Benefits:

£22,000k -£23,000k - DOE, plus free car parking and additional benefits
