Group Audit Manager


Robert Half are working closely with a manufacturing/services business based in the Warwickishire area to recruit various roles and support their rapid growth. The next role is for a Group Audit Manager working closely with their Legal and compliance function.

  • Develop all aspects of the group's compliance and control environment. This will encompass not just the standard financial controls, but controls over diverse areas such as project management, procurement, IT and statutory compliance
  • Complete, in conjunction with other group finance staff, regular internal audits of the group's subsidiaries around world.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to understand business processes and provide recommendations for improving key controls and ensuring these controls are embedded in the business.
  • Develop the internal compliance review process, encompassing internal risk reporting and assessment, critical review and prioritisation of challenges and formal internal audit.
  • Manage the relationship with external providers of specialist internal audit services
  • Manage the Group's formal internal communications, including the enforcement of proper process for strategic planning, budgeting, monthly and statutory reporting.
  • Deliver improvements in the internal reporting on controls; delivering reports which are clear, concise, engaging and multi-purpose - fulfilling the needs of both the operational business and the board.

Ideally you will have:

•Minimum 5 years Audit experience within Industry.

  • Knowledge of audit and risk management principles and methodologies
  • ACA/ ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years Audit experience within Industry.
  • Experience supporting the development of audit strategies and plans, and demonstrable experience undertaking audits and delivering audit projects
  • Ability to manage own workload, using own initiative, demonstrating strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and present results in front of others.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
