Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Payroll Team Leader to join an exciting Retail company experiencing huge growth based in Central Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£30,000 - £35,000 plus performance bonus

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Building a brand new payroll team
  • Engage and support the payroll team
  • Manage the end to end payroll process for the in-house payroll
  • Ensuring payroll variations are all up to date to include additions, deductions and any variable pay issues that arise
  • Assisting with monthly pension and workplace benefits processes
  • Responding to any payroll queries within the agreed SLA

Person specification:

  • Minimum 1 years experience managing a payroll team
  • At least 4 years previous payroll experience
  • Experience with end to end monthly payroll process
  • Strong problem solving skills - it will be second nature to you
  • Experience in producing P11ds
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience with meeting strict deadlines
