Robert Half are currently working with a market leading business based in Swindon who are looking for a Payroller to join their team on a permanent, full time basis.

Role

You will be reporting to the Payroll Manager and working in a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing change requests such as maternity, paternity and any statutory payments, internal offers, changes in pay and hours and any changes to employment terms
  • Timely & accurate processing and calculation of salaries
  • Calculation of starters, leavers and changes
  • Processing of payments for employees and third parties
  • Creating and posting salary journals
  • Providing advice to employees in relation to Payroll

Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in similar role
  • Good understanding of tax, National Insurance, Statutory Maternity & Sick Pay
  • Sound understanding of HR processes
  • Proficient in the use of ICT, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel

Salary & Benefits

This is a full-time permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday and is earning up to £36,000 pa DOE. Benefits include pension, on-site parking, private health-care, and a range of high street discounts.

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
