Our client is a highly regarded and established Media Group. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Project Manager / Buisness Analyst to work within the supply chain part of the business. The Role

This is so much more than a job - you will enjoy a true career path as you work with the IT team to ensure that the full 360 end to end project management is carried out including all the business analysis required for a suitable timely delivery. Your management skills will be put to the test ensuring all relevant parties are aligned on project goals, and coordinating between various internal departments. Bring your leadership skills too - you'll be the driving force, who ensures all parties achieve their objectives, timelines and budgets.

Your Skills & Experience

Project Management

  • Gather and assess business requirements, ensuring that the needs of the business are being met by the project.
  • Define scope of projects and maintain project plans.
  • Organise and chair regular and weekly meetings.
  • Define the roles/tasks of project team members.
  • Monitor and respond to risks and issues that become apparent.
  • Project scope and requirements detailed and agreed
  • Project documentation maintained throughout the lifespan of the project (including plans, requirements, risk and issues)
  • Project communications delivered appropriately and on time (including meetings, minutes, exec summaries)
  • Post project reviews undertaken

Business Analysis

  • Use good working knowledge and experience in conceptualising business processes and producing appropriate models to illustrate them
  • Gather and assess business information from disparate sources
  • Meet and interview staff members to capture current, and discuss future, business processes
  • Define and document workflows
  • Apply supply chain knowledge to ensure analysis is meaningful and relevant to the business.
  • Work with stakeholders to update Business Cases where applicable
  • Process maps produced detailing business activities
  • Business Cases produced in agreed format

System Skills

Solid knowledge of MS packages including power point, Excel, Visio and Project - Prince2 or PMBOK
Project Management experience within an I.T. or Supply Chain setting

You function brilliantly in a dynamic project environment and you're passionate about seeing a project through to completion - on time and on budget. You have the confidence to be assertive towards project task owners, and your outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal, let you maintain a clear flow of information and updates to team members, customers and third parties.
