Robert Half are currently working with a reputable global organisation to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk. The role is full-time, permanent and based in Cirencester and is paying £19,000 - £21,000.

Role

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic purchase ledger assistant to join a busy finance team. Our client is looking for someone to take responsibility of processing invoices for specific accounts and to ensure payments are issued without problems. You will be working alongside another purchase ledger clerk and will also maintain communication with the other office site. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Processing invoices in accordance to the company's procedure
  • Reconciling monthly supplier statements
  • Communicating with suppliers and personnel to resolve queries
  • Processing daily interface between 2 systems
  • Issuing both upfront payments and supplier payments
  • Ensuring all refunds are processed and added to the ledger effectively
  • Issuing spreadsheets for all outstanding returns

Profile

The organisation is looking for a focused and thorough individual to join their team. Alongside having a good eye for detail, you will also have:

  • Experience in a similar purchase ledger role
  • The ability to work effectively to deadlines
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade A-C or 9-4
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Proven ability to deal with a high-volume workload

Salary & Benefits

  • An annual salary of between £19,000 and £21,000 p/a depending on experience
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (plus an extra day annual, after 2 years' service)

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
