Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently recruiting an interim Reconciliations clerk for a business based near Cardiff City Centre. This is an urgent requirement that will start ASAP.

The company have recently gone through significant growth and require an additional employee to assist with a reconciliation project. Initially the role will be on a temporary basis expected to last 4 weeks, paying up to £12.50 per hour + holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities

  • High volumes of bank reconciliations
  • Production of daily and monthly bank reconciliations including daily cash flow updating
  • Load and reconciling journals from multiple systems for banking
  • Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts
  • Investigate cash in transit variances
  • Monitor petty cash spends and patterns
  • Identify risk and non-compliance
  • Analyse variances to P&L
  • Act as a liaison office for any query handling from management and banks

Your Profile

  • Experience in a similar role - high volume and bank reconciliations on a daily and weekly basis
  • Experience of working with high volumes of data
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and a logical approach to problem solving
  • The ability to use your own initiative and work independently as well as part of a team

Pay Rate

  • £10.00 - £12.50 per hour + holiday pay
