Robert Half Office Team are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Support Administrator for an expanding and independent school based in South Bristol. The Recruitment Administrator will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be supporting the HR function within the organisation, by undertaking a variety of administrative and operational tasks associated with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees coming into the organisation.

This is a Part Time vacancy, with the ideal candidate working at least two half days a week, on a fixed term contract.

Job Specification:

  • Handling incoming recruitment inquiries from candidates and staff
  • Creating and placing job descriptions and advertisements
  • Tracking and recording incoming applications
  • Acting as liaison between candidates and managers to arrange interviews and assessment days
  • Sifting and pre- applications
  • Complying with, and advising hiring managers on, best recruitment practice in line with policy
  • Undertaking pre-employment screening checks on successful applicants, including requesting references and DBS checks
  • Undertaking all administration associated with onboarding successful applicants, including creating and sending contracts of employment
  • Enrolling new starters on payroll
  • Sending hiring managers new starter induction documentation
  • Complying with safeguarding and child protection requirements and where appropriate, undertake reporting, in accordance with agreed criteria, to ensure every child's well-being and health and safety;
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time.

Person Specification:

  • At least one years' experience within a similar position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Competent on all Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience within internal recruitment is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to use initiative
  • Confident working within a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work within a team and individually
  • Good attention to detail
  • Flexibility when required
