Sales Ledger Clerk - Letchworth

Robert Half Cambridge are currently working with a market leader, rapidly expanding company who are recruiting for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their finance team based in Letchworth.

Overview of role

Day to day duties of The Sales Ledger Clerk will include but not be limited to:

  • Issue sales invoices
  • Reconciliation of the ledger and supplier statements
  • Consistently liaise with the credit control team to ensure all information is accurate
  • Deal with discrepancies and any discrepancies
  • Liaise with non-accounting staff throughout the business, providing financial support
  • To post journals and help with any other month end tasks
  • Ensure all VAT posting are correct

The ideal candidate Profile:

  • Word, Excel and Outlook to intermediate Level
  • Excellent customer service and telephone manner
  • Experience in professional services would be an advantage
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Confident, articulate and an effective communicator at all levels
  • Well-presented and professional
  • A positive attitude and strong desire to deliver high quality results.
  • Reliable and able to use discretion
  • Strong time management skills
  • Good team player

Salary & Benefits

Role of Sales Ledger Clerk is paying up to 23k plus excellent benefits

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training
