Due to continued growth we are now looking to hire a Senior Consultant who will focus on our Cloud & Infrastructure space.

Our UK Technology Consulting practice helps organisations to identify, understand and address technology opportunities and challenges. Using our expertise, we enhance the integrity, reliability, performance and security of our clients' technologies and supporting operating models. It is our goal to be the most trusted technology advisor to our clients through providing a range of services covering technology strategy and operations, security, privacy, cloud solutions, enterprise application solutions, software services and enterprise data and analytics.

The Role

The Senior Consultant coaches junior staff members and facilitates the successful completion of project work plans

The Senior Consultant learns to identify areas of risk and opportunities to improve efficiencies. Relationships with client personnel and professional associates strengthen as the ability to communicate, gain trust and network improves.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Application architecture including layout of application's deployment and design
  • Development of processes and architecture for integrating disparate services
  • Using ITSM/ITOM to promote processes needed to manage the provisioning, capacity, performance and availability of the operational and service environments
  • Working with Active Directory and related directory services
  • Working with Windows and Unix file systems
  • Networking hardware and software (Cisco, Meraki, etc.)
  • Using Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams (in a systems design or administration role)
  • BCDR as it relates to cloud environments and architecting platforms with adequate resiliency features
  • Working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technology solutions
  • Managing the governance, risk and compliance aspect of cloud-based technology
  • Identify technology project risks and strategies for managing and mitigating them
  • Management of projects related to cloud

Required Skills & Experiences

  • Strong understanding of leading technology components and best practices including:
  • Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, Public, Private & Hybrid)
  • Virtualization (VMware, AWS, Azure & GCP)
  • Network, Server, Storage, Database & Data centre
  • Experience with automation and orchestration including streamlining single tasks through a repeatable and uninterrupted process and automating the execution of complex processes with a variety of variables
  • Exposure to Orchestration, Automation, and Management tools (Landesk, SCCM, SCOM, Puppet, etc.)
  • Understanding of cloud security principals including Identity and Access Management and Access Control Concepts
  • Demonstrated strong written, oral and presentation skills with the ability to discuss technical concepts to all audiences, ranging from non-technical people to executive level technical decision-makers
  • Background In professional services/ consultancy
  • Degree & IT Certifications are useful

Location - City of London

Salary - £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus & Benefits
