HERE’S THE JOB DESCRIPTION:
Title
: Associate Mfg Process Technician 
Pay: up to $19.00/hr
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA 91320
Duration: 3 year contract + possible extension

Description:

  • Onsite M-F shift is 6am- 3pm
  • Ideal candidate- Microbiology or science based degree , previous manufacturing experience, must be flexible, eager and willing to learn.
  • In this role, you will work with a team responsible for supporting multiple Drug Product manufacturing operations, including environmental support, parts washing, component kitting, and preparation of equipment for staging. The team is responsible for maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, compliance, and efficiency while balancing a dynamic production schedule. You will work cross-functionally to support multiple customers and stakeholders including Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Process Development, and Engineering.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Maintaining a safe and compliant culture by identifying preventative measures
  • Perform Manufacturing Support activities: parts washing, component kitting, preparation of equipment for staging, operation of automated equipment (i.e.. various washing technologies, autoclaves and depyrogenation oven)
  • Perform the cleaning/sanitization of the manufacturing areas and equipment.
  • Assist the team with maintaining adequate inventory levels for raw materials, components, and small parts equipment.
  • Document and review cGMP paperwork including equipment use records, batch records, and work order documentation.
  • All work must be completed in accordance with Code of Federal Regulations (CFR's), cGMPs, SOPs, and Amgen policies.
  • May assist in the evaluation of the current cleaning procedures/equipment and recommend changes to optimize the cleaning program.
  • Actively partners with Engineering and Facilities Maintenance to escalate weak signals associated with equipment performance and/or reliability in the functional area.
  • Serves as an advocate for safety, soliciting ideas for improvement and hazard prevention.

Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and other documentation
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate and be accountable
  • Ability to work in an environment where cleaning products are used (i.e., bleach, isopropyl and other disinfectants)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Perform moderately physical activities for up 2-3 hours and the ability to lift 25 lbs
  • Ability to work all shifts in support of 7/24 operations

  • Ability to communicate, collaborate and be accountable
  • Ability to work in an environment where cleaning products are used (i.e., bleach, isopropyl and other disinfectants)
