Job Description

Title: Engine Development Engineer 
Pay: Up to $46.42/hr - Negotiable 
Location: Santa Clarita, CA 91335
Length: 1 year contract + yearly renewals

?Seeking candidates who have experience with mechanical engine development components. Manager open to candidates from either Automotive or Aerospace. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities includes planning, coordinating, performing and reporting on the test of the development engine systems Data collection require testing on dynamometers,  various test rigs, at other external test facilities and/or at the race track. 
  • Subsequent analysis and reporting is required. 
  • Development  may include performance, cost, function, driveability and/or reliability of engines, engine systems and/or powertrain components per project goals.
  • This job will require the writing of test requests, daily progress reports, test reports and will require concise presentation of testing results, analysis, conclusions and suggestions for future development. 


Requirements:

  • Requirements include Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a solid understanding of internal combustion engines;
  • 3-5 years minimum experience with development and testing of  engine components.
  • Must have MATLAB experience.
  • FSAE Engine experience preferred.
