Exchange Server Administrator

Hourly Rate: $42.86 to 60.71
Primarily responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the company's existing Microsoft Exchange 2010.
Patching Exchange servers and managing available space within the Exchange environment for mailbox growth.
Administer and support Mimecast, Symantec Mail Security, BlackBerry UEM, and MobileIron.
Documentation for application deployment, configuration, and related processes on the Exchange environment.
As part of our growing global organization, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in our business by supporting the Microsoft Exchange 2010 and 2016 multi-server environment using database availability groups.
In this role, you will ensure the performance, reliability and availability of our critical exchange server hardware and software components.
Responsible for a variety of other enterprise support applications which are used in a variety of business areas.
The primary objectives of the role are described below: primarily responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the company's existing Microsoft exchange 2010 and 2016 environment, as well as spam and antivirus applications.
This includes activities such as patching exchange servers and managing available space within the exchange environment for mailbox growth.
Responsible for producing and maintaining the appropriate documentation for application deployment, configuration, and related processes on the exchange environment.
Proactively identify and successfully resolve email routing issues in a timely manner.
Provide escalated support to the IT Support Services Team and End Users as necessary.
Proactively monitor and identify server problems to reduce negative impact on business operations.
Support business growth by researching and recommending innovative technical solutions to business problems.
Ensure compliance with company policies by performing periodic audits of various environments.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree equivalent in computer science or related field from an accredited institution. 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft exchange 2010 and 2016 environments.
Required skills:
Must have Lync 2013
Intermediate to advanced experience with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft exchange 2010 and 2016 environment.
Strong understanding of multi-domain tree active directory environment, including domains, group policies, and DNS management.
Strong knowledge and experience using windows Power Shelling language.
Demonstrated understanding of windows 2008r2/2012r2 server.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated, team player with strong interpersonal skills that is eager to learn new technologies.
Preferred technical skills:
Specific experience with Power Shell, Mimecast, MobileIron and Symantec mail gateway is a plus.
