Position Title: Production Ordering Analyst #213820
Rate: Up to $31.81/hr
Location: Franklin, TN 37067
Duration: Long term/indefinite contract + possible hire after 1 year on assignment

Position Summary:

  • Analyzes data from Product Information Guide to set up major model specifications tables and color group tables to allow order creation and scheduling.
  • Set up vehicle accessories to allow them to be ordered via the production ordering process and assure that the KAX tables are set up so that only orderable combinations can be created.
  • Update major model specifications table when end items are canceled. Develop Spec Validation spreadsheet and conduct spec validation meeting.
  • Set up KMCO/IMCO tables to ensure that state legislated requirements are met.
  • Analyze production orders and request additional commodity volume when needed at 3 month and 1st weekly ordering for NMM and NMX products.
  • Perform scheduling function for all Nissan and Infiniti products, analyze results and assure that the results maximize Nissan profits and vehicle logistics.
  • Analyze receiving error reports, determine cause of errors and make adjustments as appropriate.
  • Develop and distribute monthly PCS calendar and assure that automated KMSH calendar accurately reflects the dates as provided by manufacturing sources for order sends.
  • Monitor hindrances and report to management areas that repeatedly are causing order changes.
  • Develop and secure approval of policies and procedures that allow Vehicle Operations to operate effectively and efficiently with the groups that they interface with.
  • Work with Distribution and Manufacturing to manage production volume increases and decreases assuring that the appropriate mix is maintained to maximize Nissan profit.
  • Maintain commodity capacity comparison charts on a monthly basis after the 1st weekly order is scheduled.
  • Maintain Generic Option Tables and correct as necessary to assure that only orderable combinations are available and facilitate the invoice and Monroney sampling process.
  • Keep management apprised of any concerns or situations that impact the group or Nissan.
  • As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
  • 2 - 5 years of related experience
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheet, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to produce non-standard, creative products.
  • Monitors and conducts business analysis of program performance on an on-going basis.
