Job Description


Job Summary/Position Objective:  Consults with leadership, physicians and clinicians, to identify and implement industry best practices, quality, service and efficiency initiatives related to clinical applications, operations, and functions. To identify opportunities for Epic product development, optimization and technical improvements/changes that foster streamlined and integrated workflows. Have a solid understanding of Epic in order to construct and/or create these functions within Epic.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

1.      Current PA or NP License

2.      Demonstrated analytical skills.

3.      Able to efficiently and effectively communicate with a diverse audience.

4.      Knowledge of information systems design and operations.

5.      Knowledge of healthcare administration, clinic philosophy, policies and operating


6.      Knowledge of computer systems and applications.

7.      Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving, & decision-making.

8.      Skill in developing and maintaining effective work to achieve goals and objectives.

9.      Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.

10.  Ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports.

11.  Ability to monitor quality control standards.

Preferred Qualifications: 

1.      Epic Physician Builder certification.

2.      Epic reporting certification(s).

3.      Experience training providers and clinical staff on system uses and functionalities.

4.      Experience in presenting to groups.

5.      Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to partner with others and guide them through challenging projects.

6.      Knowledge of governmental regulations requirements.



Job Requirements

Essential Functions: 

1.      Enforce all policies, rules and regulation as directed by the Board of Directors.

2.      Responsible for supporting established goals and objectives for all clinical staff through the use of Epic.

3.      Analyze workflows and procedures and recommend changes to improve workflow and efficiency in Epic.

4.      Maintain and compile statistics when necessary or upon the request of the Medical Director or Administrator.

5.      Maintain strictest of confidentiality.

6.      Undertake special projects and assignments, as directed by the Medical Director or Administrator.
