Job Description

Solderer Company builds circuit boards, electrical cables and wire harnesses. Will be responsible for soldering circuit boards and wire harnesses. Will work from approved engineering drawings, mechanical blueprints, quality inspection procedures, military specifications, manufacturing process plans and other written instructions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Assemble circuit boards, cables and wire harnesses. Solder pot dipping Wire-wrap wire cable to electronic terminals. Maintain product documentation and related logs as required Check pick lists to verify component and quantity accuracy Responsible for detailed soldering of electronic assemblies (Circuit boards). Solders through-hole components. Identifies and has a good working knowledge of electronic components. Performs visual inspection of printed circuit boards for IPC-A-6I0 workmanship requirements. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must have 3 + month experience soldering Prefer candidates to be familiar with IPC soldering standards Experience soldering circuit boards, electrical cables or wire harnesses preferred. Familiar with Manufacturing Processes and Workmanship Standards Ability to frequently lift/carry products weighing up to 50 lbs Ability to use manual dexterity and basic mathematics 1st shift 7-3:30 ½ hr lunch not paid and 2- 15 minute breaks paid. $11 - $15/hr depending on experience, will consider $15/hr range for those with IPC Standards experience Hands on soldering test will be given at time of interview.
