SEQUEL TRANSITION / FALLS ACADEMY

We are seeking an experienced, organized, detail oriented, energetic and friendly administrative receptionist. Previous experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

            Position Title:  Administrative Receptionist        Reports To:  Administrative Services Director

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming telephone calls and direct the calls or messages to the proper individual on a timely basis.
  • Greet all visitors and report their arrival to the appropriate individual or department.
  • Perform typing, photocopying, and other related tasks as required.
  • Operating and maintaining all office machines, equipment (including fax machine, postage meter and photocopiers) and keeping office area organized.
  • Confidentially maintain data and update employee information including personnel information.  
  • Pull background information, contact references and prepare hiring papers for prospective employees.
  • Set up interviews then send correspondence to prospective employees.
  • Assist with orientation and training of new employees.
  • Assist with personnel folders ensuring they are compliant with state regs prior to filing.
  • Code incoming bills / get proper approval / scan and email into corporate office on daily basis.
  • Deposit funds for students while tracking on spreadsheet and paper.
  • Responsible for monitoring student funds and ensuring funds are accurate and available.
  • Balance student funds bank statement monthly.
  • Prepare food services end of month billing summary and count sheets.
  • Maintain professional relationships with the community and associated agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times pertaining to any office correspondence, personnel information or financial information.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year previous work experience in an office setting is preferred.
  • Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) preferred.
  • Meet standards regarding State of South Dakota Administrative rules for working with youth in a Group Care Facility.

 Pay:  $12.00 / hour

 Hours:  Monday - Friday  9am-5pm
