Job Description

CLASS TITLE: CONTRACTS/ADMISSIONS SPECIALIST

CLASSIFICATION: ONE FTE- Exempt

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR:

             1.      Complete any contract renewals and new contracts, as well as any requests. 

2.      Maintain and audit provider credentialing and facility files, and complete any updates needed. 

3.      Communicate with other departments to ensure internal forms and documents are current and in compliance; update if needed and replace on database. 

4.      Complete and renew any facility licenses. 

5.      Ensure facility inspections (i.e. fire extinguishers, alarms, etc.) are current. 

6.      Complete and submit credentialing and re-credentialing packets for providers. 

7.      Schedule and Oversee all Admissions to the Outpatient Clinic

             eight.     Assists in community relations and marketing

9.    Assist the QA and Executive Director with any other duties as needed.

10.  Adheres to Sequel policy and practice concerning creation, editing, transmission, storage, and disposition of all Protected Health Information in compliance with HIPAA.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or GED recipient and at least one year experience with contracts and/or licensing. Must have a high degree of communication skills both orally and in writing. Must have exceptional documentation skills. Must be able to use standard office equipment, sit and/or stand for extended periods of time if necessary. Strong professional and personal boundaries required. Energetic, self-motivated, maintains professionalism and confidentiality. Individual judgment, discretion and decision making skills.
