Program Overview:

Sequel Youth and Family Services of Mountain Home is an intensive secured residential treatment facility for boys, ages 10-1eight, with severe psychiatric, behavioral, and sexual disorders. The boys are sent to our program by DJC and have to complete our program. We have a private school on campus where the boys can continue their education. We offer group and individual counseling as well as basic life skills training. We utilize the Normative Peer Culture model at our program. The program is very structured and during the day the boys will go to school, complete chores, participate in therapy sessions, participate in recreational activities and learn life skills.

Job Duties:

The Therapist provides individual and group therapy as well as case management services to male residents, ages 10-1eight. Position requires professional communication and liaison with parents, referral sources, and other treatment professionals. This position works extensively with adolescents who have displayed inappropriate sexual behavior or committed a sexual offense.


•    Position requires a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or closely related clinical field.
•    Selected Candidate will be licensed as a LPC, LCSW, LMSW or LMFT in the state of Idaho.
•    A minimum of 1+ years experience in one or more of the following areas: adolescent behavioral healthcare, sexual disorders, special education, and family reunification in an appropriate adolescent treatment environment.
