Job Description

Forest Ridge is a residential treatment facility for adolescent females. We serve girls ages 13-17, with an average length of stay being 6-9 months. While here, the girls learn new coping skills by being provided with substance abuse counseling, therapy, education, and behavioral health services. Forest Ridge is located in small town Iowa, with our residents coming from all over the United States.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide supervision for on-call clinical services.

  2. Provide initial and on-going consultation to clients referred for services.

  3. Exercise vigilance in confidentiality.

  4. Maintain the system of tracking, monitoring, providing services and reporting to comply with state licensing requirements.

  5. Develop, implement and update Utah Client Treatment Plans to ensure appropriate services are being provided.

  6. Develop and implement individual/family therapy plan.

  7. Provide Individual, Family, and Group Therapy.

  8. Ensure all therapy documentation meets all standards in the validation of the billing process.

  9. Maintain open communication interdepartmentally for effective on-going treatment planning.

  10. Provide on-going training to staff on mental health issues.

  11. Consult with the admissions department for client referrals.

  12. Ensure appropriate programs that have been developed are implemented and service delivery protocols are followed to meet the needs of Forest Ridge students.

  13. All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

MSW with one year of supervised experience after the Master’s Degree or a Master’s Degree in Psychology/Counseling with two years experience beyond the Degree, one of which was under supervision and licensing at the independent level is preferred.  Experience should be in the area of Child Welfare, Mental Health Intervention and Case Management.
