Youth Counselors work with students every day and are a part of a team that are helping youth to make positive changes in their lives.  Youth Counselors supervise students on their dorms and in the classrooms and participate in counseling on a daily basis.

The qualifications for the youth counselor position include a high school diploma or GED and previous work or volunteer experience working with kids is preferred.  A college degree in the Human Services field is not required but preferred.   It is an essential function of the job that staff be capable of participating in physical training activities and be capable of physically restraining the students if and when necessary.  A State of Iowa class D3 chauffeur’s license and clear MVR is preferred.  We are hiring for Full Time Youth Counselors on the PM shift which is 3 pm to 11 pm and includes weekends.  The position is located in Woodward, Iowa.
