Job Description

This position is responsible for the maintenance of the Plant’s electrical and electronic equipment and instruments.

Key Accountabilities

•Test, install and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and instruments, fixtures and wiring.
•Troubleshoot, repair and analyze electrical and electronic equipment and instruments, fixtures and wiring.

Job Requirements

•At least 3 years of industrial experience (with Associates degree preferred)
•Considerable experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical systems in an industrial environment
•PLC experience
•Knowledge of computers
•High voltage experience is highly desired
•Electrical license is desired
•The candidate will be required to pass an electrical test prior to interview
•Strong work ethic and ability to work with little supervision
•Completion of required in-house training program
•Completion of required 10-month self-study program

Work Environment

This is a facility that has a heavy industrial work environment. Temperatures, in the majority of the work areas, are not controlled so people are exposed to hot conditions in the summer and cold conditions in the winter. The noise level in the work environment is usally moderate.
