Job Description

Installs, repairs and maintains electrical systems and electronic components of industrial processes.

Key Accountabilities

Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as, but not limited to, robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers. Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment. Diagnoses and repair/replace malfunctioning apparatus such as, but not limited to, transformers, motors, controls, sensors, drives, thermocouples and replaces damaged or broken components, wires and/or cables. Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers or management. Interpret plans or layout diagrams of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings. Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. Works with outside contractors to compile information for quoting purposes

Job Requirements

Minimum 1 years experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems and HVAC. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to read, analyze and interprets general technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, area, circumference, volume, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to use software programs such as Microsoft Office and Maintenance Planning programs or SAP

Preferred Qualifications

Must have State of Arkansas Board of Electrical Examiners License – (Minimum) Journeyman Electrician License or HVAC
Able to be medically certified to wear a respirator.
Forklift Operator License and Hazardous Material Handling are a plus

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands/finger to handle or feel and reach. The employee is frequently required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to walk, sit, and climb and balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud
