Summary of Job Content:

•Facilitate an instrumental cross functional collaborative team and spearhead a culture of continuous improvement throughout 9 North American regional plant sites. Drive the organization towards process excellence in all steps of the supply chain end-to-end process.

•Provide management and leadership with strategic, tactical and operational guidance and share best practices and processes throughout our Global network.

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities
•Manage logistics service providers in terms of service and cost
•Monitor landed cost, logistic performance and benchmark on a regular basis
•Work and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization; proactively seek out opportunities to improve teamwork in a fast pace, high-growth & results oriented business environment
•Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions of agreements/ contracts and execute agreements with suppliers
•Serve as interface between sites and suppliers to ensure prompt resolution of issues (delivery, quality, etc.)
•Support the business by providing logistics solutions (transportation, storage)
•Interface with Group Legal on agreements and approve executive contract summaries for Group Legal
•Ensure compliance with policies and procedures of Group Legal, Global Purchasing and Global SCM
•Evaluate industry trends to determine potential impacts (risk assessment) and initiates actions to ensure continuity of supply chain
•Investigate potential suppliers for optimum alignment of capabilities with requirements
•Develop long term sustainable relationships with 3PLs and transportation providers
•Implement initiatives to meet overall corporate objectives
•Perform other duties as required to support objectives of sites and Global SCM, Global Purchasing and Group Legal
•Work as a liaison between Logistics, Plant Operations, Sales, Quality, Procurement and Planning to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives within the Group


Job Requirements

Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree
•Experienced leader with strong verbal and written communication skills
•Proficiency with SAP, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
•Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively
•Distinct level of analytical thinking as well as planning, organizational and communication skills
•Must fluently read and speak English


Preferred Qualifications

Experience:
•Minimum of 10 years of experience with global logistics
•Experience in manufacturing preferred
